Our guide will be holding your name sign and waiting for you at the airport, and then you will be transferred to the hotel. The guide won’t leave until you are picked up. Hotel check-in time will be after 2 pm.
Today you will first visit the Forbidden City (closed each Monday), it took 14 years to complete the construction of Forbidden city from 1406 to 1420, where 24 emperors ruled China for about 600 years.
After lunch, you will head to the Summer Palace. In 1750, the construction of the lavish royal garden started to prepare for the birthday ceremony of Emperor Qianlong’s mother. Now it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for its stunning gardens and serene lake, it was once a favorite summer escape for emperors.
This morning, we will drive for about 1 hour (47 km) to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Here, you’ll have the chance to climb this iconic structure, renowned as the longest and most impressive defensive wall in the world.
On our way back to the hotel, we’ll make a photo stop at the Olympic Village, where you can capture the modern and striking architecture from the 2008 Beijing Olympics, such as the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube.
This morning you will visit the Temple of Heaven, where the ancient emperors worshipped to the god of heaven and pray for good harvest. It is a very popular park now for people to do Tai Chi and morning exercises.
Then you will head to Beijing Hongqiao Pearl Market, also called Pearl Market. It is a well-known market dealing with pearls around the world. There are not only beautiful pearls but also seafood, digital products and silk. Covering an area of 4,500 square meters. Located at No.9, Tiantan Dong Lu, Dongcheng District, Beijing.
Then Take a rickshaw to visit Hutong. The Beijing Hutong has a very special and important position in the rich history and culture of Beijing. It is a “must see” part of Beijing for the tourists for they are a wonderful glimpse into the world of yesterday in Beijing. While visit the Beijing Hutongs, you can feel the dramatic changes of Beijing and experience its traditional culture.
Next, you will explore the Houhai, which is a famous scenic area in the northwest part of Beijing. Since the early 2000s, the hutong neighborhood around Houhai has become known for its nightlife as many residences along the lake shore have been converted into restaurants, bars, and cafes. The area is especially popular with foreign tourists visiting Beijing and is also often visited by the expatriate community and the younger generations of locals.
After breakfast in the hotel, you will head to the China Science and Technology Museum, a national-level science education venue in Beijing, focuses on popularizing scientific knowledge. It has multiple exhibition areas, showing advanced technologies like robots, aerospace, and marine exploration, with a lot of interactive exhibits.
Then you will visit Beijing Zoo, located in Xicheng District, Beijing, is a well-known and long-standing zoo in China. It houses over 5,000 rare animals of around 500 species, with the Panda House being the most popular area.
Today, our local guide will pick you up at the hotel. Then you will be transferred to the airport according to your flight and fly back to your sweet home. Our service ends there.
