Palumeu Cultural Adventure

Overview

<div><strong>Description</strong>
Besides seeing the interior from the plane, you’ll also have the thrill of moving about in a korjaal (boat made from a hollow tree trunk – a sort of large canoe). You’ll venture onto the Tapanahony River, where Palumeu lies, towards the rapids. There you can take an invigorating bath and the massaging forces of the water will relax your body. We will also take you to the Potihill. This is the hill we’ll climb and, while in the jungle, you’ll be told about the various flora and fauna which are abundant in this area. You’ll be able to enjoy a picnic after you arrive on the Palawa Island, and to fully relax.

It is an honor to be received by the village’s chief and to experience the cultural treasure of traditional dance. You shall encounter music which originated centuries ago and thereby gives you a glimpse into history. To fully enjoy the Amerindian way, you’ll be able to practice with a bow and arrow. Also, if the weather allows it, the campfire at night brings pleasure and merriment. While staring into the flames and daydreaming about all you’ve encountered of the culture and of nature, the timelessness starts to get hold of you.
