Champions get up early ! This bird watching tour is a very popular activity for those that like getting up early in morning to try and spot the famous tropical birds in the peaceful, beautiful and scenic tropical dry forest of the area.
Costa Rica is a great place for bird watching with more than 850 species of birds. The tour takes place in local private reserves, which are close to distances from most hotels. With your experienced naturalist guide, you can see some of the following striking species; The Cattle Egret, Crested Caracara, Laughing Hawk, and Squirrel Cuckoo, to name a few. Our experienced guides carry binoculars, telescope, and field manuals to help you understand and learn about these magnificent birds. Witnessing these spectacular birds is optimized early in the morning or when the day cools into the evening when they are most active.
