<strong>Day 1:</strong>
The tour to Galibi starts in bus when you head east in the direction of Albina. A experienced guide will tell you about the history and sights along the way. You stop at Stolkertsijver for a quick sandwich. At noon you arrive at Albina, where on the trip will be continued by boat. After 1 ½ hours sailing you arrive at Christiaan kondre where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. Later on in the afternoon, there is a village walk where you can learn more about the culture of the indigenous Amerindians. Before the dawn we sail into Babusanti, to see the turtles lay their eggs on the beach*.<strong>Day 2:</strong>
After breakfast you visit a sandbank called “the Tigerbank” (one of Suriname’s few nice sandy beaches). After diner the evening an impressive cultural show * is offered.<strong>Day 3:</strong>
On the last day of the Galibi tour the guide takes you for a walk on the beach and you can swim in the river. Next is a boat trip to St. Laurent, French Guiana, where you can visit the prison of the notorious Papillion. Then the boat takes us to Albina where you can enjoy a tasty lunch, after lunch we continue traveling to Paramaribo by bus.
* Depending on the tide we go after dinner or before sunrise to Babusanti
