Itinerary
Arrival in San Jose International Airport where you will be met by our representatives. Shuttle transfer to the Barcelo San Jose.
6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. We will pick you up at your hotel in San José. During the hour and a half journey, admire the biodiversity of a protected area as we pass through Braulio Carrillo National Park.
Enjoy an early morning self-guided walk through Chachagua’s private rain forest, rich in tropical flora, fauna and wildlife. See for yourself why Pat Schultz includes Chachagua Rainforest Hotel in her New York Times best seller, The 1,000 Places to See Before You Die! Later this afternoon, tour Arenal Volcano with a guided hike on El Silencio Trail in Arenal National Park. Next, enjoy thermal hot springs against the backdrop of active Arenal. Soak in the maze of pools, waterfalls and cascades pulsating with thermal water flanked by thriving tropical gardens. A fabulous buffet dinner is included in this Garden of Eden like experience.
