<div>The BERGENDAL Heritage Village and Adventure Centre is located right alongside the BERGENDAL Eco &Cultural River Resort and offers numerous exiting and interactive activities to visitors of all ages. Accessible to local and international day trippers and guest residents of the resort, this unique new tourist attraction, the first of its kind in Suriname, provides thrilling adventures and entertainment within the meaningful context of conservation and preservation education.

The tour counts 10 platforms, 7 cables, 1 bridge, 2 stairs.
It all starts with the gearing up at AC. The guides will wear your harness for you and you will be provided all the necessary equipment.
Please do not try to fix your gear yourself. If something doesn’t feel right just ask one of our guides to do it for you.
When every one is geared up you will go to the test cable where you get the instructions from the guides.
After this briefing and trial you will hike up the hill a little way(through the forest) to start on the first platform. The guide will explain what you should do.
Please follow instructions. The guides will put you on the cable and make sure all is save so you can enjoy the ride.
The highest point is 35m and that cable is going across the Suriname River. This cable is 174m long. When you finish on the other side of the river, a boat will come over to pick you up.
Please do not take off your gear when you are finished. Our guides will do that for you upon arrival at AC.
The minimum age for this activity is 12 years.
The minimum weight for this activity is 40 kg
The maximum weight for this activity is 100kg.
No alcohol or drugs before doing the canopy
Pregnant people are not allowed
you should be in good shape and have no medical disorders
