Day Program:

We leave Paramaribo by bus for a tour at the Neotropical Butterfly farm (one of the biggest butterfly and snake farms in the region). After this we drive to a nearby village to seen Maroon wood carvers, who – with a simple knife – carve the most intricate patterns in wooden benches and ornamental panels.

Next is a stop at the Amerindian potters, where you get to admire genuine Surinamese pottery.

Our last stop is at Cola Creek where you can relax and swim in a Creek with Black water.
