The adventure begins at Tenorio Volcano National Park, where we will take a trail leading to the iconic Rio Celeste Waterfall. To admire its full splendor, we will descend around 250 steps to get closer to the base of the waterfall, an effort that will be rewarded with an incomparable view and the opportunity to capture unforgettable photographs of this natural paradise. With its brilliant turquoise waters, this unique place owes its color to a chemical reaction between volcanic minerals, making it one of Costa Rica’s most stunning destinations. Along the hike, we will pass through a vibrant tropical rainforest teeming with life, allowing us to spot local wildlife, such as monkeys, toucans, and others in their natural habitat.
Next, we will head to Finca Verde, a private reserve dedicated to conservation and environmental education. Here, you’ll enjoy a scenic, lush trail filled with colorful tropical plants and diverse wildlife, including sloths, frogs, and birds that thrive in this protected environment. Finca Verde promotes organic agriculture and sustainable practices that help preserve the local ecosystem.
